The head coach of a Livermore youth soccer team was arrested Thursday afternoon and locked up in Santa Rita Jail in Dublin on suspicion of the possession and distribution of child pornography after police detectives discovered the lewd material on his computer, police said.

With a search warrant in hand, detectives knocked on the door of 1664 Altamar Way, the residence of 45-year-old David Garrison. During a preliminary examination of Garrison’s computer, detectives located several graphic child pornography images, leading to Garrison’s arrest for possession and distribution of the harmful material.

Police encourage anyone with information about this case to contact the department’s Sgt. Paul Mayer at (925) 371-4733.
