* Tamara Warren suspected in the stabbing of Wallace Scott appears in court

A woman suspected of stabbing to death her estranged boyfriend in Oakland last Thursday is scheduled to appear in court today.Wallace Scott, a 54-year-old transient from Oakland, was fatally stabbed in the 1100 block of Ocean Avenue, near Alcatraz and San Pablo avenues, at about 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 19, police said.The suspect, Tamara Warren, 39, was sought by investigators over the weekend and surrendered to police Monday evening, police Officer Holly Joshi said today.Warren, an Oakland resident, was previously in a relationship with Scott, who lived in his truck, Alameda County Chief Deputy District Attorney Tom Rogers said. Rogers alleged that Warren became jealous after seeing Scott in the truck with another woman. He said she opened the door of the truck and stabbed him, then fled. Scott was transported to a local hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. The other woman, who was in the truck at the time of the stabbing, was uninjured, Rogers said.Warren is scheduled to be arraigned at the Wiley Manuel Courthouse today. She is being held without bail in the Santa Rita Jail.
