Two Fairfield men were arrested this weekend after allegedly forcing their way into a Vacaville home they allegedly intended to rob,
according to the Vacaville Police Department. Officers responded at about 3:30 p.m. Saturday to a report that a home invasion robbery had just occurred in a north Vacaville home. One woman and three juveniles were in the home when the robbery occurred. They were all assaulted, police said. The woman was transported to an area hospital. The suspects, Alonzo Walker Jr. and Alonzo Walker Sr., left the home in a black Chevy Tahoe, according to police. Officers in the area saw a vehicle with that description entering Interstate Highway 80 west at the Mason and Depot streets on-ramp. Vacaville police, along with the assistance of the California
Highway Patrol, stopped the Tahoe on the highway west of Davis Street. The men were arrested and booked into the Solano County jail. Officers recovered a loaded handgun believed to have been used in the robbery.
