The Capitola Police Department is currently seeking Stacy Marlen Munoz on a warrant charging her with Robbery and Conspiracy. Detective Marquis Booth reports that on June 27th, 2010 Munoz and accomplices arranged a meeting with a victim. When the victim arrived at the meet location, he was immediately robbed at gunpoint.
The victim was shot by one suspect, and the other suspect pistol whipped the victim several times in his face causing injury. After the victim was robbed, Munoz and her accomplices fled the scene together. Munoz has allegedly been identified by the victim as being one of the suspects.
One of the other two suspects is described as a Black female adult about 18-20 years old, with a light skin complexion, 5′-6″ tall ,dark shoulder lenght hair, and a thin build.
The other suspect is described as a Black male adult 18-20 years old 5′-9″ to 5’10” tall with a thin build, light skin complexion, and a “corn row” hair style.
Munoz is known to frequent San Jose, California, and may visit or stay with friends or relatives in the 200 block of Silver Drive in Watsonville, California or the 90 Block of Chestnut Street in Santa Cruz. Police also have information she frequents Pacific Avenue and the lower Ocean Street areas in Santa Cruz.
