* Six women and one man has been arrested on suspicion of engaging or aiding in prostitution in Vacaville

Police have arrested six women and one man on suspicion of engaging or aiding in prostitution in Vacaville since July 29 during a sting operation that targeted women posting ads on the Internet offering sex for money.  An undercover police officer posed as a customer during the operation. Charlene Agoo, 39, of Vacaville, was arrested July 29 for prostitution at a local motel. On Aug. 3, Karla Noreiga, 18, of Fairfield was arrested for prostitution; Anthony Krout, 25, of Vacaville was arrested for aiding in an act of prostitution; and Ashley Bartlett, 23, of Fairfield was arrested for prostitution, police said. During a separate undercover operation, Tiffani Baker, 24, of Sacramento; Tashonda Faison, 23, of Highlands; and Denise Martin, 26, of Sacramento were arrested for prostitution, police said. Baker also was charged with pimping. Police said the owners of America’s Best Value Inn will also
receive a letter informing them they violated a community safety ordinance that requires them to ensure criminal activity does not occur on their property.
