* Safeway Robbed in San Jose-Police Need Help to Identify Alleged Robbers

The San Jose Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the men in these photos.  According to Detective Jason taner, on July 25th 2010, approximately 3:40 a.m., suspect #1 confronted a 60-year-old uniformed security guard outside the Safeway Grocery Store, 2558 Berryessa Road, while armed with a firearm. Suspect #1 demanded the victim’s firearm; however, the victim was not armed. The victim was robbed of personal items while Suspect #2 removed beer from the store. Both unidentified suspects fled on foot towards Berryessa Road and remain at large. The victim was uninjured during this incident, which remains under investigation.
