Fairfield police made two arrests Thursday in connection with two motorized bicycles that were stolen from a home in the city in November 2009. In June, the victim of the theft spotted an advertisement on Craigslist for a bike that looked like one of the ones that was stolen from him, police said. He alerted police detectives, who traced the computer from where the ad was placed to a home in Winters. On Thursday, detectives served a search warrant at the home, where they located one of the stolen bikes in the garage. Investigators also found a large quantity of prescription narcotics, an illegal firearm, and a throwing star, police said.    Christopher Silva was arrested on suspicion of possession of stolen property, possession of an illegal handgun, and possession of a
dangerous weapon. His father, David Silva, was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of narcotics without a prescription, according to police. Both suspects were booked into Yolo County jail.
