A woman has been arrested for a series of armed bank robberies that took place in July in San Francisco and Daly City, according to the San Francisco Police Department. She was arrested on Thursday at her workplace in Martinez. The first San Francisco incident took place July 12 at a Bank of America located in the 3700 block of Balboa Street in San Francisco. The second occurred on July 16 at a Bank of America in the 5200 block of Diamond Heights Boulevard. In both cases, the woman approached the teller brandishing a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded money. She then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police. San Francisco police made their arrest with Daly City police after an anonymous tipster called in with information to help identify the woman.
She is currently in San Mateo County jail, where she was booked for a bank robbery in Daly City.
