* Victim of stabbing attack allegedly by Wensy Sanchez in Santa Cruz identified as Juli Entwistle

The Santa Cruz woman allegedly stabbed to death by her boyfriend early Saturday morning has been identified by the Santa Cruz County coroner’s office as Juli Entwistle. Police responded at about 4 a.m. Saturday to a report of domestic violence at an apartment in the 300 block of Morrissey Boulevard, where they found Entwistle, 41, lying on the living room floor. Entwistle died as a result of a wound to her neck, according to the Santa Cruz County coroner’s office. Wensy Sanchez, 39, Entwistle’s boyfriend, was found sitting near her body and was arrested. Entwistle was pronounced dead at the scene. Sanchez was scheduled to appear in Santa Cruz County Superior Court this morning.
