A San Francisco man responding to a Craigslist ad about a car for sale at a fictitious address in south Vallejo was jumped and robbed at gunpoint of $2,000 Monday night, police said.It was the second such incident this month, police said. The victim, a 23-year-old man, and a friend were responding to an ad about a car for sale at 246 Neptunes Court at about 10:45 p.m., Lt. Abel Tenorio said. When they couldn’t find the address, they got out of their car and called the phone number in the ad, Tenorio said.At that point, a man jumped out of the bushes, pushed one of the men to the ground and stole his wallet, which contained more than $2,000, Tenorio said. The victim’s friend ran and fell, and the suspect smashed his cell phone, Tenorio said. The suspect then fled in a small white vehicle driven by a second man, Tenorio said. Both are described as black men in their 20s, police said.Police said that in a similar case on July 7, another man responding to a Craigslist ad for a car for sale on Neptunes Court was robbed by two men.
