Two teens were shot early this morning after an altercation erupted outside of a home in unincorporated Brentwood, a Contra Costa County sheriff’s spokesman said. At about 12:30 a.m., several people tried to get into a party at a home in the 2500 block of Virginia Drive but were denied access, said sheriff’s spokesman Jimmy Lee. One of the people had a gun and opened fire, shooting two teens. One of the teens was struck in the back and the other was hit in the leg, Lee said. Both were transported to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, one by ambulance and the other by helicopter. Lee did not have any updates on their condition this afternoon.
