Two men were injured after a dispute ended in gunfire early this morning near San Francisco’s Pacific Heights neighborhood, a police spokesman said. Officers responded to Van Ness Avenue and Sacramento Street at about 1:50 a.m. where they found two men who had been shot, one in the thigh and the other in the foot, San Francisco police Officer Albie Esparza said. The two victims had apparently tried to break up a physical altercation among a group of women. Shortly after, another man fired a gun, striking both victims, Esparza said. The men were transported to San Francisco General Hospital and are expected to survive. The suspect fled in a white four-door Taurus, according to Esparza.
