The vehicle went down a steep embankment and hit several more trees before coming to rest 50 below, Sloat said. He said it took 30 minutes to extricate Watkins, who suffered lacerations and abrasions.Watkins, who was driving on a suspended license, was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, Sloat said. She was arrested on suspicion of DUI and remains hospitalized.Mark West Springs Road was partially blocked by emergency personnel for just over two hours and reopened at 2:45 p.m., Sloat said.
