A family whose San Jose home was broken into Monday morning by several robbers appears to have been targeted, a police sergeant said today.Between six and 10 people broke into a home in the 300 block of Fuller Avenue at about 5 a.m., Sgt. Ronnie Lopez said.He said the suspects came in through a door, used shoestrings to tie up the family of four — including two children — and fled with numerous electronics in a large car.The family suffered minor injuries but were not transported to a hospital, Lopez said.He said the suspects were armed with guns, but no shots were fired.A preliminary investigation indicates there is a connection between the suspects and the family, according to Lopez.”At this time it appears that this was not a random act and that the family was targeted,” he said. “We’re not working any cases similar to this one with the similar suspects and descriptions in the San Jose area.
