Several people broke into a San Jose home early this morning, assaulted the occupants and took off with some of their electronic items, police Sgt. Ronnie Lopez said. Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at about 5 a.m. at a home in the 300 block of Fuller Avenue, Lopez said. He said between seven and 10 people entered the home, assaulted a family inside and fled with the stolen goods. The victims suffered minor injuries and were not transported to a hospital, Lopez said. The suspects were armed with guns but no shots were fired, he said.
