* South San Francisco Police Looking for Suspects That Shot at Teens on Centennial Way Trail

Police are on the lookout for two suspects who chased and shot at two teenagers walking along the Centennial Way trail near the Tanforan Mall in San Bruno, a spokesman for the South San Francisco Police department said. At around 3:20 p.m., two teens, ages 16 and 17, were walking south on the Centennial Way trail from South Spruce Avenue when they were approached from behind by two suspects. The suspects yelled at the victims, then removed a handgun and shot at them. The suspects then fled northbound on foot on the trail. The victims ran to the nearby Tanforan Mall in San Bruno where they contacted mall security, according to police. Mall security contacted the police. The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital where he received treatment for a non-life threatening injury and was later released. Police said the suspects were described as Hispanic males in their late teens wearing dark clothing.
