Nearly six weeks after the body of Suisun City woman Bichphuong “Phuong” Le was found in rural

Napa County, the Solano County coroner’s office has determined the former nursing student’s cause of death.In a statement released Tuesday afternoon, the coroner’s office said that Le was killed by a stab wound to the chest. An autopsy was performed May 10.Le had been reported missing around April 25 after she was last seen at a Barnes & Noble bookstore in Fairfield. The search for her ended about 12 days later when Le’s body was found by a passerby in the Lake Berryessa area of Napa County. The Solano County coroner was able to confirm her identity using fingerprints. Le’s death was quickly classified as a homicide by Fairfield police, though investigators did not comment on a possible cause of death until Tuesday.No arrests have been made in the homicide.
