Police are searching for two men who fired a gun while robbing another pair of men outside a Fairfield store Saturday evening.Officers responded to reports of a possible robbery in the parking lot of the Smoke Shop at 1306 W. Texas St. at about 7:10 p.m. and found the two victims, police said. They told police that one of them had gone into the store to cash his check while the other waited in the passenger seat of the car. When the driver got back into the car after cashing his check, the two suspects approached them, pointed a gun and demanded their money.The passenger in the car pulled out his wallet, which one of the suspects tried to grab. He and the victim struggled over the wallet, prompting the suspect to fire one shot before pulling the wallet from the victim’s hands, police said.No one was injured in the gunfire, and both suspects then fled in a gray or silver Oldsmobile.They are described as black and about 20 to 25 years old with shoulder-length braided hair.
