* Antwan Mouton Arrested in Danville in Connection with Shooting

Police have arrested a Bay Point man suspected of shooting a Danville resident last month, according to the Danville Police Department.Antwan Mouton, 22, was arrested at about 10 a.m. Wednesday in Concord, according to police. He is accused of shooting a 52-year-old Danville man in the upper torso on May 20 at a home in the 700 block of El Pintado Road. The victim was taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek and has since been released, police said. Investigators have discovered Mouton and the suspect knew each other, and the alleged shooting was not a random incident, police said.  Mouton was arrested without incident for assault with a deadly weapon, burglary and violation of parole. He was booked into the Martinez Detection Facility and is being held without bail, police said.

  • i went to junior high with Antwan, and his twin brother Antonio (who was recently arrested for rape). they were good kids, with a rough upbringing for sure. they were well liked, kind hearted. both obviously hav serious issues and are a danger to our society for now. This is so sad,
