Vacaville police arrested two men early Saturday morning in connection with a tire-slashing spree in the city, according to a police sergeant. Officers responded to William and Stevenson streets at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday on reports of a vandalism, Sgt. Terry Cates said. Witnesses reported seeing two suspects using a knife to slash tires. Investigators searched the area and located the suspects at Main and Davis streets, Cates said. Jose Biviescas and Ali Sharif were arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism, he said. Eight vehicles, including two that belong to the city of Vacaville were damaged, according to Cates.
