* Parolee David Godoy Salazar Arrested After Parole Search in San Lucas

A 25-year-old man was arrested early this morning in unincorporated San Lucas after methamphetamine and marijuana were found in his vehicle and stolen property and drug paraphernalia were found in his home during a parole search, according to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office. David Godoy Salazar was arrested when a deputy searched his vehicle at about 12:25 a.m. on Main Street. Salazar is a parolee, according to the sheriff’s office. He admitted smoking marijuana in the hours before being contacted by the deputy, and a search of the vehicle yielded methamphetamine, marijuana and a marijuana pipe, according to the sheriff’s office. A subsequent search of Salazar’s nearby home on Main Street led to the discovery of a stolen all-terrain vehicle, an operational digital scale, and a methamphetamine pipe. Salazar was arrested and taken to Monterey County jail.
