* Bill White and Deidre Lum Arrested in Vacaville for Alleged Child Endangerment

A Vacaville couple were arrested Thursday on drug and child endangerment charges after cocaine and methamphetamine were found in their home where three young children lived, police said. Police went to a home in the 500 block of Longwood Place around 7:30 a.m. to serve an arrest warrant on Bill White, 39, of Vacaville. White was wanted for resisting arrest in another county. After his arrest police searched the home and found nearly a half-pound of methamphetamine, and 1.25 pounds of marijuana, 10 grams of cocaine and items used to manufacture methamphetamine, Sgt. Ian Schmutzler said. Three young children were found living in the home, Schmutzler said. They were removed from the house and taken to Solano County Child
Welfare Services. Richard White, 41, and Deidre Lum, 39, were arrested for furnishing or transporting controlled substances, possession of cocaine for sale, possession of methamphetamine for sale, manufacturing controlled substances and child endangerment. They were booked into the Solano County jail. Bill White, who is Richard White’s brother, was not arrested on
drug charges.
