* 15 Year Old Boy Shot on Silver Avenue in North Richmond

A 15-year-old boy who was shot Thursday afternoon in North  Richmond remains in critical condition at a local hospital today, Contra Costa County sheriff’s spokesman Jimmy Lee said. The sheriff’s office received a call at 4:54 p.m. reporting a shooting in the 400 block of Silver Avenue. When deputies arrived, they found evidence of a shooting, but no victim. They later learned that citizens had taken the victim to Doctors Medical Center in San Pablo. The boy had been shot multiple times and was transferred to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, where he was listed in critical condition, Lee said. As of this morning, investigators had not identified any suspects and did not have information about a possible motive for the shooting, Lee
