Two men who were shot in Richmond on Wednesday are both expected to survive, Richmond police Sgt. Bisa French said today. Police were notified of a shooting in the 200 block of South Seventh Street just after 3:30 p.m., Lt. Shawn Pickett said. As officers responded, they were told two victims were near the intersection of Harbour Way and Florida Avenue, just blocks from where the shooting was reported. Officers found a 21-year-old San Pablo man and 35-year-old Richmond man suffering gunshot wounds at the intersection. They were airlifted to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek where they were listed
in critical condition, Pickett said. He said investigators found casings in the 200 block of South Seventh Street. As of this morning, no arrests had been made and no suspects had been identified, French said. She said there was no evidence indicating that the shooting was gang-related, but said the victims were not entirely cooperative.
