* Morgan Hill Police Need help to Identify Two Female Alleged Theft Suspects

ID #10-121

Morgan Hill police today asked for the public’s help in identifying two women who are wanted for stealing a wallet from a salon employee earlier this week and may be responsible for similar thefts. The theft occurred about 3:45 p.m. on Monday at Extend Your Image Salon, located at 16160 Monterey St. Employees said two women came to the salon and, while one asked questions about various products at the business, the other stole a wallet from the purse of an employee, police said. The victim realized her wallet had been stolen when her credit card company notified her that her card had been used in Gilroy and Hayward, police said. The women were seen driving away in an early 2000 silver Mercedes. An employee at another nearby business told police that two similar women had come into her office and asked about an appointment, police said. The women then asked if they could use the bathroom and each went separately.  The employee said the women were acting strangely and seemed aggressive. She turned over a surveillance video to police that showed the women talking to a receptionist and at one point one of the women is seen opening drawers and cabinets in the employee break room. However, the receptionist said nothing was missing. The females are also suspected in a May 21 theft at the West Coast Martial Arts Studio, police said. An employee reported he had had his wallet stolen and that he had been informed his credit cards were used at various locations in Morgan Hill. The employee told police he had spoken to two women with similar descriptions in the office area of the studio and that they had expressed interest in a membership for their children. Both suspects were described as black women between 30 and 40 years old. The first suspect is about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 170 pounds. She was wearing a dark-colored shirt and purple vest and had a large scar from below the middle of her left eye down to her mouth. The second suspect, who claimed her name was Jasmine at the West Coast Martial Arts Studio, stood at 5 feet 9 inches tall and was about 180 pounds. She was wearing blue jeans, tall boots, and had braided hair in front and a ponytail in the back.
