A 22-year-old Antioch man was shot as he sat in a car in Union City Monday night, police said Tuesday. Officers responded to the shooting in the 34000 block of Perry Road at about 8:55 p.m. and found the victim suffering at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital to be treated for the injury, which police said was not life threatening. Police said the victim had been sitting in the car with another male when a male suspect approached them and began shooting at the vehicle. Police were continuing to investigate a motive Tuesday evening.
