Police have arrested a man suspected of shooting at two men in a car in Livermore on Sunday evening. The two victims, a 24-year-old man and a 20-year-old man, went to the Police Department at about 7:30 p.m. to report they had been victims of a shooting, police said. The men, both Livermore residents, told police they had gone to the 300 block of Junction Avenue to meet with an acquaintance, 25-year-old Jacob Quintal. One of the victims got out of the car and he and Quintal began to
argue about money, police said. The man got back into the car, and as he and his friend were driving away, Quintal allegedly shot at them, the victims told police. One bullet struck the car near the rear window. No one was injured in the shooting.
Police later arrested Quintal on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
