* Armandomillo Castillo arrested by Morgan Hill Police dog for burglary

A suspected burglar was arrested in Morgan Hill on Friday with the help of a police dog and a Taser gun. Officers responded to a report of a residential burglary in progress in the 200 block of Burnett Avenue at about 5:30 p.m.When officers arrived, the intruder, 34-year-old Armandomillo Castillo, of Morgan Hill, barricaded himself inside the home and did not respond to police efforts to negotiate with him. The homeowners were apparently out of town.At about 6:15 p.m., officers forced entry to the home and found that Castillo had shut himself inside a bedroom. Officers were able to open the bedroom door enough to send in the police dog Pax.Pax bit Castillo on the leg and held him while officers forced the door open, police said. The officers also used a Taser to subdue Castillo.He was taken to Regional Medical Center of San Jose to be treated for numerous dog bites to his leg.Castillo was arrested on suspicion of burglary, resisting arrest and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
