Police are warning drivers who don’t stop for red lights at two intersections in Belmont that they could begin receiving citations next week. The Red Light Photo Enforcement Systems at the intersections of Ralston Avenue and El Camino and at the intersection of Ralston Avenue and Old Country Road were activated April 27. However, citations won’t start going out until Thursday. The two intersections were chosen because a lot of vehicles drive through them regularly and also because of their physical layout, according to the Police Department.
