Police arrested suspected gang members on carjacking and weapons charges after a brief pursuit in Rohnert Park early Thursday morning.Officers responded to a noise complaint at 655 Enterprise Drive at around 2 a.m. and found six men in a back parking lot, according to the Rohnert Part Department of Public Safety.One of the men, later identified as 25-year-old Petaluma resident Gilfredo Barocio, reportedly kicked the police car before an officer got out and all six men took off running. Pursuing officers found Barocio climbing up onto a balcony and into an apartment. As officers entered, a semiautomatic handgun and a loaded .40 caliber magazine were allegedly thrown from an apartment window. Barocio, who reportedly had outstanding warrants for carjacking and participating in a street gang, was taken into custody. He was additionally booked for being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of live ammunition and resisting arrest.Also in the apartment was 24-year-old Rohnert Park resident Gerardo Hernandez Lopez, a known gang member.Lopez was arrested for harboring a felon and resisting arrest.
