Novato police arrested three people for attempted murder and are looking for two more in connection with a shooting that injured three people in a minivan Wednesday afternoon.The shots were fired from the sunroof of a white Honda into a red Toyota Sienna minivan on Redwood Boulevard, south of Lamont Avenue, and then on westbound Rowland Boulevard around 4 p.m., police said.Two victims, a 17-year-old girl and an 18-year-old man, both of Novato, were later contacted at a home in the Hamilton area, police said. One victim declined medical attention. The other suffered minor injuries and was treated at Novato Community Hospital, police said.Police impounded the Toyota Sienna at the home.Officers later contacted a third victim who went to Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Terra Linda,McCarthy said.Police spotted two suspects, Kendra Bertucci, 18, and a 17-year-old girl, both Novato residents, in the Honda. They were arrested at about 7:15 p.m. in the 400 block of Ignacio Boulevard, police said.A 15-year-old Novato boy was arrested at his home at 1:23 a.m. today, police said.A juvenile boy and another suspect are still outstanding, McCarthy said.The motive for the shooting is still under investigation.
