* Eric Hunter, Jasmine Wilson arrested after car chase with Solano County Sheriff’s

Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man and a woman on various drug and gun charges Tuesday after the pair led them on a chase through Solano County.Narcotics investigators went to a home in the 2300 block of Fairfield Avenue at about 7:30 a.m. to serve a search warrant on 26-year-old Eric Hunter, according to the Solano County Sheriff’s Office.No one was in the home when deputies arrived. While searching the residence, detectives found more than half an ounce of methamphetamine worth about $700, packaging material, a digital scale, a loaded .44 Magnum revolver and a stolen motorcycle, sheriff’s officials said.Later that morning, while detectives were still at the home, Hunter and 18-year-old Suisun City resident Jasmine Wilson drove up in a Jeep Cherokee and parked in the apartment complex. When detectives approached them for questioning, they drove off, according to the sheriff’s office.Deputies chased them, joined by officers from the California Highway Patrol and the Vacaville and Fairfield police departments. The chase ended when Hunter and Wilson crashed into a fence on Interstate Highway 80 in Fairfield. They ran from the car but were caught after a brief foot chase.Hunter was arrested for possession of methamphetamine for sale, being armed during the commission of a felony,possession of a stolen motorcycle and felony evasion of law enforcement.Wilson was arrested on suspicion of attempting to delay and obstruct deputies from performing their duties.
