On Saturday, May 8, 2010, at approximately 7:35 PM, San Jose Police Officers responded to aid the San Jose Fire Department on a call in the 400 block of W. Old Julian Street, San Jose. Upon arrival, officers located a 2-month-old female who was unresponsive. She was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. The police department’s Homicide Unit identified the biological father was the suspect in this case. The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner determined the cause of death was a result of blunt force trauma. Suspect Pablo Rosas Hernandez was interviewed and arrested. He was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail for Homicide.This marks the cities eighth homicide of the year.
