* Pittsburg man who was shot multiple times in the 3700 block of Gladstone Drive is expected to survive

A 22-year-old man who was shot multiple times Thursday night in Pittsburg is expected to survive, police Lt. Brian Addington said today.Police received a call shortly after 8 p.m. from the victim, who was at a friend’s house in the 3700 block of Gladstone Drive.The victim told police he had been in his car preparing to smoke marijuana alone in the area of East Leland Road and Harbor Street when he heard gunshots.He realized he had been shot and drove to a friend’s house on Gladstone Drive, where he called police.He was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Walnut Creek.Police talked to residents near where the shooting happened who reported hearing gunshots shortly after 8 p.m., Addington said, but as of this morning no suspects had been identified. The victim told police he didn’t know why he had been shot.
