Three people were arrested in Daly City over the weekend in connection with a homicide in Washington State, Daly City police announced today.The arrests followed a traffic stop Saturday morning on Geneva Avenue near Santos Street. An officer stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation and allegedly saw a passenger attempt to conceal his identity, police said.Police searched the vehicle and found a concealed firearm that was loaded. Joshua Reese, a passenger, was arrested on suspicion of providing false information to a police officer and weapon violations.The driver, Amanda Knight, was also arrested for weapon violations and a third occupant of the vehicle, Kiyoshi Higashi, was arrested for allegedly obstructing the officer by concealing Reese’s identification card, police said. Authorities from Pierce County alerted Daly City police Sunday that the trio is wanted for questioning in connection with a homicide in the city of Edgewood, Wash.Police said today that investigators were making arrangements to question the suspects.
