The San Jose Police Department seeking the public’s help in identifying the man in this police sketch. According to Detective Adam Hutson, on March 30, 2010 at about 5 pm, this suspect allegedly committed a robbery behind the backstop at John Mize Park. The suspect reportedly struck the victim over the head with a glass bottle and then took his BMX bike. The suspect then placed the bike into a car and drove away. The suspect is described as a white male in his early 20’s with short blondish/brown hair, brown or hazel eyes, a goatee with a shaved lower lip. He is approximately 5’9″ to 6’0″ in height, with a thick and fit build. He was wearing a red t-shirt, with unknown writing, and tan long shorts that went below the knees. The suspect may go by the name of “Gary” and has a tattoo of “Ride” on top of the right wrist, “BMX” on the top of his left wrist, a dragon on his upper chest and “loyalty” on his right arm. On the inside of the left calf is a picture of an entire person riding a BMX on a rail. There is a grim reaper on the outside of the left calf. The suspect fled in a late 1990’s gold or tan Toyota Sienna Van with a partial plate of “5H”. The victim’s bike is a BMX, flat black in color with gold front wheel, with writing on the rear wheel “I can fly”, “Slut” on top bar of frame, and “Roseanne” on the top of handlebars.
