* Man Stabbed and Another Struck by Bottle at a Bar in Moss Landing

A man was stabbed and another was apparently struck by a bottle thrown during an incident at a bar in unincorporated Moss Landing Friday night, according to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office. Shortly after 8 p.m., an altercation was reported at a bar on Moss Landing Road, according to the sheriff’s office. A suspect took out a 4-inch silver knife and stabbed a patron of the bar after a brief argument. The victim suffered knife wounds to his lower abdomen, left hand, and left ear. The injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, according to the sheriff’s office. Another victim suffered a laceration to his left eye. That victim believed he was struck by a bottle that had been thrown by the suspect. He was treated for his injuries and released, according to the sheriff’s office. No arrests were made in connection with the incident.
