One man was killed and two were injured Saturday night in Santa Rosa in what police believe was a gang-related stabbing. Two suspects were arrested the next morning. At 10:08 p.m. Saturday, police received reports of multiple stabbing victims at a home at 2506 Pearblossom Drive. Officers discovered uninvited guests had interrupted a birthday party at the home, which led to an altercation in the front yard. Police said three Santa Rosa residents were stabbed: Bounnie Dohangmeechit, 25, and brothers Mike and Wilson Andee, 21 and 18. Dohangmeechit died shortly after the incident, and Mike and Wilson Andee were taken to a local hospital. None of the victims were documented gang members, but police believe the incident was gang related. After the stabbing, several suspects fled in a burgundy colored Acura. At 7:30 a.m. Sunday, detectives arrested 21-year-old Santa Rosa residents Cesar Chavez and Jessica Morell for the stabbing. Chavez was arrested for murder and two counts of attempted murder, and he was given two gang-related enhancements. Morell was arrested for being an accessory to a felony and was given two gang-related enhancements. The two were booked in Sonoma County Jail — Chavez without bail and Morell on $250,000 bail. Police are still looking for outstanding suspects, and anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest will be given a $2,500 reward. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Detective Peirsol or Sgt. Steve Fraga of the Police Department’s violent crimes unit at (707) 543-3590.
