A San Leandro man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing death of his 74-year-old aunt, police said today.San Leandro police Lt. Pete Ballew said officers responded to a house at 1935 Clarke St. at 10:28 p.m. Friday after receiving a report of a possible homicide. When officers arrived, they confirmed that an elderly woman, later identified as Charlotte Acosta, had been killed, according to Ballew. Acosta’s nephew, 32-year-old William Acosta Vega, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder, Ballew said.Vega, who is being held without bail at the Santa Rita Jail in Dublin, is tentatively scheduled to be arraigned in Alameda County Superior Court in Hayward at 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
