A San Francisco man was beaten and robbed Wednesday night in an apparent home invasion robbery in the city’s Ingleside neighborhood, but later stopped cooperating with investigators when his roommate offered a slightly different story, police said.Police were called to an apartment in the 100 block of Holloway Avenue just before 10 p.m.A 22-year-old man who lived there said he had just arrived home when he was assaulted and dragged into his living room, according to police. He said one of the intruders pinned his head to the floor with his foot and another hit him in the head with an unknown metal object, possibly a pistol. The suspects were described as a woman and three men, two in their early to mid-20s. The victim told police he recognized one of the men from the neighborhood. The suspects made off with the man’s Sony PlayStation 3, his girlfriend’s laptop, his wallet and an unknown quantity of marijuana, the man told police. However, at that point, the victim “became extremely vague” and declined to provide further details, police said.Police said the victim’s roommate separately told them his roommate had actually invited the suspects to his apartment to smoke marijuana.Questioned about this by an officer, the victim “became uncooperative and did not want to talk to him any further,” police said.
