* Andrew Rojas arrested in connection with several auto burglaries in Petaluma

Two teenagers were arrested in connection with several auto burglaries in Petaluma Wednesday night.At about 10:45 p.m., an officer spotted three teenagers walking through a Lucky supermarket parking lot, one swinging a golf club, police said.As the officer approached them, one rode off on his bike and the other two started throwing items into nearby bushes.The officer detained two of the teens, 18-year-old Andrew Rojas and a 17-year-old boy.Police retrieved the items that had been thrown in the bushes, which included car stereos and mail. Most of the items had been stolen from cars parked on Sycamore Lane, police said.The two teens were arrested on suspicion of auto burglary and possession of stolen property.
