A man and a woman were robbed at knifepoint in Hillcrest Park in Concord on Tuesday night, Concord police Cpl. James Carroll said today.The victims were in the back corner of the park, located at Grant Street and Olivera Road, shortly before 9 p.m. when three men confronted them. One suspect held a knife to the man’s throat and demanded money.The woman tried to run away but fell down, and another suspect restrained her while she lay on the ground, Carroll said.The suspects took the woman’s purse, which contained her wallet and cell phone, and fled.They were described as either Hispanic or Asian men wearing black hooded sweatshirts and baggy blue jeans. They were each armed with a folding knife, Carroll said.The victims were not hurt.
