Police arrested three suspected copper wire thieves early this morning after they were spotted on the roof of a Concord shopping center, Concord police Lt. Darrell Graham said.At about 3:45 a.m. police responded to a report of three people on the roof of the Dana Plaza Shopping Center at 4115 Concord Blvd. Officers arrived and arrested 22-year-old American Canyon resident Steven Feller as he tried to run away.They arrested the second suspect, 30-year-old Concord resident Darren Kirby, after they found him sitting in his car nearby.The third suspect, 21-year-old Concord resident Jasmine Swearingen, was found hiding in an electrical room at the shopping center with cut copper, blowtorches and other instruments, Graham said.All three have been arrested and booked into county jail.
