* 7-Eleven store robbery at 1136 Mission Road in South San Francisco

A man believed to be in his 30s robbed a 7-Eleven store at gunpoint Sunday morning, police said today.The suspect entered the convenience store at 1136 Mission Road at about 5:40 a.m., brandished a silver revolver and demanded money from the clerk, according to police. The clerk complied and after taking the money, the suspect went behind the counter and took several items off the shelves, police said.He then fled the area in a dark-colored sedan or compact car with rectangular-shaped taillights, police said.The suspect is black with an average build and was wearing a black hooded sweater that concealed his face, dark-colored jeans and white athletic shoes.Anyone with information is asked to call the South San Francisco Police Department at (650) 877-8900.
