The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department is currently seeking Noah Eugene Duenas on a warrant charging him with murder. According to detectives, Duenas has been identified as the suspect in the shooting death of 23 year old Jose Lua. On March 18, 2010, at around 9:30pm deputies responded to Waterloo Liquors to a report of a possible stabbing. When deputies arrived they located the victim sitting in a white vehicle in front of Waterloo Liquors. The victim, later identified as 23 year old Jose Lua, was transported to a local hospital by ambulance where he was treated for his wound(s). Deputies learned the victim was actually shot in the right side of his face, and not stabbed as previously reported. On March 20, 2010, Victim Jose Lua was removed from life support and pronounced dead. Detectives have received information that Duenas has been spotted in the San Jose area. Anyone with information of Duenas’ location is asked not to approach him as he is to be considered armed and dangerous.
