* Christopher Strickler arrested for domestic violence in Vacaville after police use Taser

Vacaville police arrested a 23-year-old man Monday on suspicion of assaulting and threatening to kill a 49-year-old woman.Police used a Taser to arrest Christopher Strickler during the domestic violence incident at a residence in the 700 block of Oak Brook Drive.Police said they saw Strickler strangling the woman as they approached the residence around 4:30 p.m. in response to reports about a verbal disturbance.Officers entered the home through an unlocked front door and fired a Taser at Strickler when he did not cooperate, police said. The woman said Strickler also threatened to kill her, police said.Strickler was booked into the Solano County jail and the woman was treated at the scene for minor injuries, police said.
