A parolee who was arrested Monday after allegedly leading police on a chase in a stolen car will be arraigned Wednesday afternoon in Sonoma County Superior Court.Karl Winston Roe, 42, is being held without bail on a parole hold in Sonoma County jail.Sonoma County sheriff’s Lt. Greg Miller said detectives tried to pull over Roe as he drove a Honda on Santa Rosa Avenue near Burt Street at about 4:45 p.m. Monday, but Roe refused to yield.The Honda had recently been reported stolen in Healdsburg.The detectives chased Roe through Santa Rosa city streets until he abandoned the Honda in a field near Petaluma Hill Road and fled, Miller said.A police dog caught Roe after a brief chase. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of dog bites before being brought to the county jail, Miller said.Roe was arrested on charges of being a wanted parolee at large, evading a police officer, possession of a stolen car and residential burglary, Miller said.Miller said Roe is a suspect in several home burglaries in northern Sonoma County.
