* Fairfield robbery at 7 Flags Car Wash at 2207 N. Texas St.

Fairfield police are investigating the whereabouts of a man who robbed a local car wash business this afternoon. The suspect entered 7 Flags Car Wash at 2207 N. Texas St. at about 3:50 p.m., entered the lobby and demanded money from the cash register, police said. He lifted his shirt to give the appearance he had a weapon, but none was seen, according to police.The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash before officers arrived. Police, with the assistance of California Highway Patrol air unit, conducted an extensive search for the suspect, but he remains outstanding.The man is described as Hispanic, 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a bright green safety vest over a white long sleeve shirt, beige pants and a black baseball cap.
