Firefighters extinguished a vehicle arson at a home in San Jose this morning that displaced four adults and seven children, according to officials. At 2:09 a.m., a caller told the California Highway Patrol that two juvenile suspects had lit a house on fire near Interstate Highway 280, the CHP said. When firefighters reached the arson, which occurred at S. 11th Street at Martha Street, they found a vehicle parked inside a garage had been set on fire, according to the San Jose Fire Department. The one-alarm blaze spread to the attic and damaged the home, the Fire Department said. The Red Cross assisted the displaced residents.The fire was contained at 2:46 a.m. No arrests had been made as of 4:45 a.m., according to the San Jose Police Department.
