A 35-year-old San Lucas man was sentenced to 16 years in prison for molesting two young girls, the Monterey County District Attorney’s office announced Friday. Felipe Villasenor was convicted of molesting a 9-year-old girl from 1999 to 2002 while he dated the girl’s mother. He didn’t stop molesting her until the relationship ended, according to the District Attorney’s office.
Investigators also discovered a second victim while they were investigating the initial crime. Villasenor befriended the second victim’s mother and began molesting her as well. He was given the maximum term of 16 years in part because of the planning and violation of trust that accompanied the incidents, the District Attorney’s office said.
